Kashimathiya Bhaishajyavali is a compendium containing 78 chapters, where treatment has been explained for simple diseases like Jwara, Kasa etc. to complicated diseases like Shwasa, Kshaya roga etc. The book contains more than 800 Ayurvedic formulations documented in Sanskrit and multilingual writing by Kashimath Samsthan Seers, aproximately 200 to 300 years ago. 24 combinations are in multilingual languages (Konkani, Malayalam, Tamil etc.). Most of the Sanskrit verses are referred from various Ayurvedic classical books like Charaka Samhita, Astanga Hrudaya etc., Rasagranthas like Rasendrasara Sangraha, Rasaratnakara etc. to the later complied books like Yoga Tarangini, Yoga Chintamani etc. Few references are from books like Hindustani Vaidya Darpana, Hindustani Vaidya Shastra etc., which are not available currently in the public domain. Formulas which were practiced locally by various Vaidyas, which have no reference, are included in this book under the title Boudha Vaidya or Anubhavika.
